Lewy Body Dementia Walk

This event has ended

Warwick Township Parks and Recreation presents the 10th annual walk to support Lewy Body Dementia.

What are we walking for?
Lewy Body Dementia is a progressive brain disease and the second most common cause of neurodegenerative dementia after Alzheimer’s disease.  Lewy Body dementia is a ‘spectrum disorder’, meaning it can occur alone or in combination with Parkinson’s disease, or co-exist with Alzheimer’s disease.  Learn more at www.lbda.org.

With your help, we can build awareness about this disease and help so many!  If you have any questions regarding our 2021 Walk, please feel free to e-mail us at: tina.christie@comcast.net.

This is a family friendly/dog friendly walk.  Members of all ages will enjoy the festivities of the day.  The walk is approximately 5k, but feel free to walk as little or as much as you like.

Registration is $25 per person, children 12 and under are FREE.  Each registrant gets a goodie bag and a t-shirt.  YOU MUST REGISTER AS A WALKER TO GET A SHIRT REGARDLESS IF YOU PLAN ON WALKING OR NOT.

If you are unable to attend, but would like to contribute to the walk, donations can be made going to Lewy Body Dementia Walk for Awareness (frontstream.com).

Day of registration is $30 and DOES NOT GUARANTEE A T-SHIRT.

ON-LINE REGISTRATIONS ARE CAPPED AT 200.  IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO REGISTER ON-LINE BEFORE SUNDAY, YOU CAN REGISTER IN PERSON AT THE EVENT.
