Administrative Assistant Part-Time

Township Administrative Assistant – Warwick Township

 

Warwick Township, Bucks County, is looking to hire a part-time, non-exempt Township Administrative Assistant for approximately three (3), eight (8) hour days per week.  The successful candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs, possess excellent office communication skills, be proficient in problem-solving skills, and be able to handle different tasks and responsibilities simultaneously.  The candidate must anticipate and coordinate projects, assignments and organize their schedule and that of others to meet deadlines.

As an Assistant, you will provide support to the Permit Clerk/Receptionist.  Duties include answering calls to the Township’s main line and directing them to the appropriate individuals, addressing walk-ins, accepting and releasing permits, processing and logging resident contacts, preparing and maintaining operational data, and other administrative duties as directed.

Probationary Police Officer

The Warwick Police Department, located in Central Bucks County, is accepting resumes for the position of Probationary Police Officer.  Our current authorized strength is 18 sworn officers. The Department sponsors several specialty units, including Investigations, Traffic Safety, Crime Scene Investigation, and SWAT.

Officers enjoy excellent salaries and benefits.  Starting pay for 2024 is $70,838.64 per year, with incremental increases to $117,505.85 after five years (before adjustments). We offer a full health care package, pension, retirement benefits, and bonuses for college degrees and course-work.

Crossing Guard Alternate

Reliable person(s) needed for ALTERNATE positions as school crossing guards.  Training and uniforms provided.  Applicants must be in good physical condition, willing to work in inclement weather, and undergo a background examination.  Transportation is not provided. This is a part-time position which pays $20.00/hour. There is a limited time-off benefit.

Locations and hours vary at our three elementary schools.

 Hours: 8:00 AM – 9 AM      and          3:00 PM – 4:00 PM

 early dismissal: 11:45 AM – 12:45 PM

 or

 8:30 AM – 9:30 AM  and  3:30 PM- 4:30 PM

 early dismissal: 12:15 PM to 1:15 PM

 These hours may occasionally change due to late openings with inclement weather.
