Pollinator Park Planting Event

We have officially received hundreds of seedling trees from the Keystone 10 Million Trees grant, now it’s time to get them in the ground! See the details below for upcoming planting events. Hope to see you there and please feel free to share this with anyone else you feel may be interested.

Pollinator Park Tiny Forest Planting – Warwick Township

Saturday & Sunday, October 21st & 22nd and October 28th & 29th

Rain Dates: subsequent weekends until complete

9:00am – 12:00pm & 1:00pm – 4:00pm (food provided between shifts)

Help plant a tiny forest consisting of hundreds of seedling trees. We will have three teams: Auger Team (drill holes with an auger 4″-8″ diameter), Planting Team (plant trees in the prepared holes, add mulch and water), Protection Team (prepare protection tubes, install support stake, place tube around the tree and secure to stake). No experience is required, we will teach you all you need to know. The Auger and Protection team will be asked to arrive a half-hour prior to the start time to get a head start on things. A separate e-mail will be sent out upon sign-up requesting your desired team.
